Rhapsody, I hope you're a bit more perked up.
E_E and Wolf: thanks
On a random note, I'm in my hometown at the moment, but my kid sister and a few friends of mine are in Lisbon watching New Order right now and they keep calling my mobile so I can listen to the concert.
It doesn't work like that. All I hear is a lot of loud static.
It only worked once on a RHCPeppers gig, but that one was so fucking loud, I could hear it at home, so I didn't need the celular...
Anyway...

I had a great night!
After work yesterday, my MIL came and picked up Lilith. My husband and I were left with lil Sevi. We don't feel he's old enough to be gone overnight, yet.
I had a great night!
There was a rainstorm. Our bodies collided with the boom of the thunder, our breath coming as one until we were spent. Our bodies tangled together like so much flotsam on the shore.
I had a great night!
I no longer feel like just "ma-ma". I feel like a wife again, like a person once more. I am woman, hear me roar!
I had a great night!

Blackout in Russia; 700,000 Dead... Chickens
About 700,000 chickens died at a poultry farm in the Moscow region as a result of the recent blackout in Russia's capital. "The chickens died because of no ventilation, increased temperatures and broken water supplies," a spokesman for the factory said.
"When the electricity went out at the farm, the temperatures in incubators dropped suddenly, killing all baby birds. That was the real trouble for us," employees of the poultry farm say.
A huge amount of dead chickens have been hastily buried not very far from the farm. Residents of a neighboring village were extremely concerned with the news that they unwillingly started living on a hen cemetery. "This is such a distress. They made a gigantic graveyard of birds just 50 meters far from our village! We are on the brink of an ecological disaster," locals say. "Do you smell the stench? We will have to wear gasmasks now. To make the matters worse, there are water wells very close to the new graveyard," a woman said.
The stench near the burial ground is awful indeed. Flies are swarming above piles of dead chickens, the Moskovsky Komsomolets newspaper wrote. "The authorities do not want to talk to us. When an excavator appeared in the field and started digging a trench, we wondered what the trench would be used for. They told us that it was a preparation for a new construction area. After that they started bringing tons of dead chickens to the site. There were about forty trucks of dead birds, and all of them went into that big pit. We do not know how to save ourselves from the horrible smell," a local resident said.
The people also said that dead birds started exploding a day later. "Specialists said that such a mass of dead chickens emitted a lot of gas. Excavators had to cover them up with ground again. There is a lake near the village. The lake is linked with the Moskva River. If ptomaine finds itself in the ground waters, it will lead to an ecological disaster," locals said.
The Moskva River also suffered from the Moscow blackout. Russia's Surgeon General, Gennady Onishchenko, said that bathing in the waters of the Moskva River was strictly prohibited both in and out of the city. Over 150,000 cubic meters of sewage from city's waste disposal plants has been discharged in the river as a result of the energy crisis, Newsru said.

I finally don't feel as sick anymore. And my cat fascinates me. He manages to eviscerate the organs of any animals he kills and leaves them on the front doorstep. It's kind of disgusting.

E_E: can't the US eat the chickens? I mean, Ron White's already eating the cow, and "he's only one guy". Can't the rest of you take care of the chickens? Maybe we can send UN inspectors 1st. Then Bush will come on saying they got hidden rotten eggs inside them, and chechen rebels will fight for their right to eat duck instead.
Great pic Alkilyu, but so the 56k'ers don't feel left out, here's something else:
Don't you hate it when you're making love in low gear, all is silent and you just feel like farting? God, I hate that. You squeeze your buns as tight as you can, but you know you're losing focus while doing it.
How about when you're so sweaty that just your wet chest and bellies slamming together also make farting noises?
What about when some pets are watching? Don't you feel uncomfortable? I even turn around when my dog takes a dump. It must work, 'cause he never did that to me (watch).
And why is the cold water in the shower always colder than the cold water in the bathroom?
How come you only see one lost shoe on the side of the road? And why is there only one sock in the washing machine/dryer?
my random tidbits.
Well done Wolfie!!!!! 4 months huh? My record, since I lost "it" in '91 is 364 days (last year). Thank God/dess for the last day of the year.
We gather the grapes in wicker baskets around September to make wine, and we say: untill the baskets are washed, the picking ain't done. 364 days is 364 days, not a year

Mael, one month is far too long in my book! But circumstances wouldn't allow a sooner joining(we were far too tired to figure out a schedule for it when I was still preggers, in other words).
At least you didn't have to go a whole year!
:P
Panther, your nipples need some TLC.
