Thank for all the welcome!

I love everything by them. I love the earlier stuff though. My favorite songs would be Charlotte Sometimes, All Cats Are Grey, Drowning Man, and Fascination Street. The super early post-punk stuff is great too.

Has anyone been to a concert?

I saw them in 2008 too, my first concert. And they played a couple encores, it was amazing. The whole time I was like *____* I'm in the same room as Robert-fucking-Smith!!

Helllllz yeah. He went almost an hour over at the one I was at, and I had snuck on to the floor to hang out with some really awesome people I had met out on the smokers pavilion. I ended up about 20 rows away from him. O_O

I was pleased that he only played one or two songs from the new album; with the exception of underneath The Stars, I was not impressed with 4:13 Dream.

I hate to say this, but I don't really like the new stuff. I was so disappointed. He played "Sleep When I'm Dead" and I forget what else... I heard "The Only One" on the radio and it sounded like "Just Like Heaven" -_-

It could be something similar to angel lust.

Welcome to the boards, btw. I was trying to look for the Let the Right One In thread and found your introduction thread.

Lack of oxygen causes a euphoric sensation. There's a trend with kids these days where they'll hold their breath or strangle themselves just enough to get the feeling.
Anyways I first heard it from a member on a board discussing Regina Spektor's "Genius Next Door".
