I wonder why the art thread fell so silent right after I posted my piece...

OK, I wasn't going to say only because I don't want to get my eyeball sporked by the Admin Gods or something, but maybe 'tis harmless:

See this URL?

https://www.gothic.net/boards/member.php?userid=1

Now after clicking on it to see what member had user ID = 1, change it to 2, then 3, the 1000, then 5000, the 10000...you get the idea: I have WAY too much time on my hands!

You also get to see their post count, if they are a moderator or admin etc.
You didn't hear it from me. Well ok, you did. If they burn me at the stake, promise me you will give me a standing ovation?

HP, I feel I have to inform you that if you go to www.gothic.net/boards and look at the bottom of the page, the statistics are there

I know, but then you can't see Black Forest, SecretBoy etc. and the names of the first 10/100 members etc., and how many have zero posts.
A little more granularity and detail doing it my way, albeit more tedious.

Plug in user ID 666. I think you will smile.

My deepest condolences for your bereavement. I am very sorry to hear about that.

I can only empathize with what you must be feeling. Having any pet die on you is difficult and I hope you'll feel better soon.

i don't recall member #666, but no wonder she only made two posts.
*Looks at own user id...feeling like an ol' timer*

Btw, Cyn, i think what HP is implying is that you can indeed view the member listing...albeit one at a time. If you click on "memberlist", it is disabled by the admins.

Carry on.

Awe, sorry to hear that. Beautiful area you live in, be the way. It reminds me of where I lived when I was a teen.

I'm so sorry disorder. I lost my cat Spooky of 14 years to coyotes back in 2001. That was not how she should have gone. I was going to take her to the vet to put her to sleep (she had all sort of old age problems), but couldn't bear to do it, and then coyotes got her. I should have let her go peacefully. Then I lost a 1 year old cat to my neighbor's rottweiller.
It is very sad when a pet is lost violently. I'm sorry.

I give you my deepest condolences, and many many cyber hugs. I lost my cat recently, so I know how hard it is to lose a pet.

I love cats so much but my mom is extremely allergic... we had to give ours away and we can't get one... =[
I volunteered at a cat shelter for a while, but it moved recently,
too far away

MMmm. I'm a vegetarian, so I make this homemade spaggetti sauce with tomatoes, eggplant, oregano and something else my dad always throws in when I'm not looking but it's great!
