Me? oh yeah.. me
I do apologize but I'm feeling a little lazy tonight so my intro isn't going to be
very creative. I'll stick with the assigned questions for now.
1. What do you do? (Hobbies, job)
-I write, read anything I can get my hands on, take photographs (primarily in
Burgamoh Cemetary), listen to really loud music, and hang around (generally getting
drunk) with my friends.
2. Where are you from?
-K-town (if you know where that is I commend you) Ohio
3. Who is your favorite author?
-I don't have any One favorite author.. a few of my favorites however include:
Anton LaVey, Mercedes Lacky, Anne Rice, Neil Gaiman (spelling?), and Laurell K. Hamilton.
(these authors don't include all the graphic novels/comic book artists)
4. What are your favorite films?
-Bram Stoker's Dracula, The Crow, Underworld (both), Legend, Labrynth, and oh so many more...
5. What music do you want played at your wedding?
-At my wedding? Hmm.. Perhaps something Celtic/Irish.. haven't really thought about it.
6. At your funeral?
-I don't really want a funeral.. the thought of all my loved ones weeping over my dead body kind of gives me a headache. Cremate me and bury my ashes in the woods and I'll be happy. I'll be dead... but happy...
7. This IS a gothic website, so... how do you want to die?
-"with my boots on" as my grandpap used to say... I don't want to die of old age.. screw that I want to go out with a bang!
8. What kind of casket would you want?
-I'm getting cremated remember? Just a pretty little jar will be good.
9. What's your FAVORITE outfit?
-My bondage pants and fishnet tank top w/ black bra (when weather allows it)
10. What's one thing you miss about being a little kid?
-The ability to get away with everything on the premesis of being "cute"
11. What's your favorite band?
-Again.. there is no One band.. here's a few from the different genres of metal I like:
Dimmu Borgir, Celtic Frost, Lacuna Coil, Staind, Static-X, Slipknot, Killswitch Engage, As I Lay Dying, My Dying Bride, Pantera, Metallica.. I could go on.. but for now I think that'll do.
12. What kind of education do you have? What is/was/will be your major?
-Some college edu. though I'm a senior in highschool (aka prison). I plan on getting an apprenticeship in blacksmithing (which includes silversmith and goldsmith as well as wrought iron and steel) so I can make pretty swords/knives/daggers and unique jewelery. 'Coming to a Renaissance Festival Near You!'
13. Why did you join?
-A few reasons.. 1) I was bored at the moment and decided to try something new 2) I figured it would be nice to meet some like-minded people 3) I have no life and need something more to do with my time and finally 4) the site name and the stories/posts etc. intrigued me.
So that's it for now.. Have a question? Ask me! I promise I don't bite... unless you want me to

By the way, you have just hit two of my weak spots.
I have a thing for penguins (and pandas) and I have a thing for psycho girls
By the way, what's the deal with everyone liking Anne Rice but me?
Am I so gothic I'm the only one who things she's not dark enough? (nah, I'm just kidding people )

Ana I’ll be the second
You like comics, who are your favorite novels/comic book artists? I’ve got to many to name.

I agree that she isn't quite dark enough but I still enjoy her writing. In my opinion -if you want dark Anne Rice- Servant of the Bones is her best novel by far.
To answer Shi'ark..some of my favorites are Neil Gaiman (gotta love the Sandman), Jhonen Vasquez (Johnny the Homicidal Maniac), Jamie Smart (Bear), Serena Valentino & Foo Shwee Chin (Nightmares and Fairytales). Of course that doesn't include the classics such as Stan "the man" Lee.

Oh yes Stan Lee, first read Spider-man when I was 12 and I was hooked.
I also like the deeper, darker stuff. I read The Crow the other week and I’m looking for a copy of V for vendetta.

I haven't gotten around to reading The Crow yet. I really want to. Unfortunately my funds are limited so I can't go out and buy it/them. I've been checking at the library and they don't seem to have it either. That makes me sad :'(

There’s probably somewhere on the net where you can read it, an underground comic club or something.
Any one know any web sites?

That reminds me of a comic I read online once. It probably isn't the greatest series but I still liked it. It's called Demonology 101. The website is http://faith.rydia.net/101.html if you want to check it out.
I'll see if I can google The Crow and come up with anything..

Well, in my opinion Metallica doesn't suck at all. I grew up on Metallica and Van Halen.
Thank you for the welcome Tenet.

While I can't say I share your taste in music, I must say that Neil Gaiman is sensational and The Sandman is an essential part of any graphic novel collection. His movie, MirrorMask, is also amazing.
Now that I've gone completely off topic, allow me to welcome you, oh lovely one of the penguin psychosis. Welcome.

Well, ain't that cute? But it's WRONG!
The correct answer is " I only listen to Metallica up to the 'black' album, all their newer stuff blows!"
You lose, thanks for playing.

I liked that she defened her opinion without getting angry.
It is a good quality in a person...
All Metalica sucks!

Metallica -if you noticed- isn't the only band I listen to. There's no way in Hell I'm going to name all the bands I like... it would take forever. So here's the genres I listen to instead:
Jazz
Classical
Classic Rock
Metal
Heavy Metal
Power Metal
Black Metal
Death Metal
Nu Metal
Alternative
Industrial
Hardcore
*SOME* Punk Rock
and probably a few others I can't think of at the moment.

Very true. Alternative could mean anything at all other than mainstream. I'll look Alternative up in the thesaurus(spelling?) and see if there are any good synonyms... maybe we can come up with a better word for it.
