Well, it only seems that way if you don't understand what the life of Jesus really was. It's pretty fundamental to not feel sorry for him, because he doesn't feel sorry for having lived that life for you. It was more a life of rejection then anything, but yes, he is referred to as a "man of sorrows". It isn't easy to be hated when all you offer is love.

It just a haircut fool! just because a particular kind of person favours such a style does not mean that that hair belongs exclusively to that group. How does your hair determine your tastes in music and clothing? People are so god damn shallow and unthinking. I dont think someones haircut tells you if they listen to My Chemical Romance or whatever bands emo kids listen to.

ViVi, in advertising, things like clothes and hair styles are used to attract a particular crowd. People tend to favor comercials that feature things they associate themselves with. If a higher percentage of people who claim to be emos have that hair style than people who don't, then the ad will appeal more so to emos than non-emos. This makes it prefferable to have the people in an advertisement meant to get the attention of emos have emo hair cuts.

Modern emo has nothing (Fine, very little) to do with music anyways. Even if it did, the college advertising it wouldn't allow any of that music anyways as the only types of music allowed are hymns, some gosple, and classical music.

I suppose its all just advertising. Maybe such schools have to make it seem as if they arent too stuck up to prohibit a style that is frowned upon by an undeniably large portion of society.
