Gordon Brown is new PM

Well, today is the end of an era, and perhaps the start of another for Britain.
Tony Blair is no longer prime minister, and Gordon Brown is.

I also finished my exams today. ><

A good thing perhaps we have Gordon Brown as the new PM? Despite the fact he took the position uncontested by anyone.
I demand UN observers! This seems hardly fair and not very becoming of a 1st world country.

Who knows, maybe he'll set his own place in the history books for something other than Iraq?

Well, here's too the future.
And hoping that Tony Blair doesn't get that job of peace envoy in the middle east (just leave it with Northen Ireland Tony, that's more than enough...).

Out with the old, in with the new, as we say up here. Hm, I don't know Gordon Brown at all, so I suggest we just give the fellow a chance and see what happens. He's only got a few years anyway. I do agree with you on sending mr. Blair to the ME... sounds fishy.

It's not such much him being fishy (well maybe a little... "Awright George, need a job mate." "No worries Tony, sorted."), I mean, it might just be a nice little job for him.

A 'job for the boys' so to speak.

But it's also because the arab world doesn't see him as being unbiased and neutral, they think of him of being far too close to America and Isreal.
