I've never heard Linkin Park. Or ICP. Or Cradle of Filth. Or Coheed and Cambria. Or Slipknot. Or Good Charlotte. Or Barenaked Ladies. Or Simple Plan.
Heard OF them... seen the t-shirts... but never heard the music.
I am COMPLETELY out of touch with popular music of the last 10 years. And I like it that way!

The poll: the worst band ever. Hence, RAP is a genre of music, so why is it even included in the poll list. It should be a RAP band listed, not the genre itself

I'm from detroit and I bought the first ICP album (well, the first published one) around the time it came out. A friend of mine was into local music and we HAD to get "Carnival of Carnage". They had some funny stuff. Ringmaster and Tunnel of Love were probably their best. Then they slowly went down hill. I never bought the last album. But as far as I know, they still do a Holloween show here in Detroit every year. I went a few times. The last time for me was "ICP vs GWAR". It was good but the woman feeder looks bigger in videos.
They used to have a radio show here at midnight on Sundays (for like a month) in '99. They also had a hotline where you could leave them messages and they'd talk shit to you on the next day's message. Violent Jay called me an asshole on it once.
Incidentally, I understand that Violent Jay lives somewhere near ten mile and Power in my hometown, but that news is pretty old. Also, they used to stay at the Red Roof Inn at I-275 and Grand River. You could see the tour bus parked there all the time. The would occasionally eat at the denny's there (Until they closed it). They're nice enough, but nicer to the ladies, if you know what I mean. I haven't heard from them in a while. Are they still doing stuff?

I'll be straight and true.....RAP SUCKS!!!!!!!!! I mean, all they do is rhyme about "Humpin' da Hunnys" and "All dat money"...and what is it with rapers and the word "Yeyah!"? Seriously....you can't spell "Crap" without "Rap"

Wow. I'm one of those 15 people who voted that Rap sucks. I don't like most of the lyrics of the newer artists. They rap about the silliest tings. The older stuff was way better. But still...I will listen to rap if the beat of the music is so good that it takes my mind off of the crap lyrics.
