Mrs Kitty - ahhh.. That's what they are called.. they are awesome.
Found out today that I was part of the largest team in the nation (for the category) for the walk I did a little while ago.
Gave myself some deadlines for publishing before the end of the year. Mr Bat drew up the front cover for two books. Now I just have to barge my way through a hurdle of genre.

It is easy to lose track with writing, I know, so kudos for setting a goal for yourself. I hope to pick it up on a bookshelf some day.
Having exact change for something makes my day. It's always the little things, isn't it?

Aww, this made me smile. ^_^ It is a model named Morticia Eve. I believe she is part of the Schwarze Szene(Black Scene) in Germany. I love those Gruftis!
What's making my day right now....my 800mg ibuprofen. I slept on my shoulder wrong and woke up in pain, but now it's gone.

HA! My workmate's Hen night is themed 80's. I receiveed a text saying fancy dress was optional. Love....I'm a goth, it aint optional for me, I can just grab the old crimpers and that's all the main prep I need to do.
Everyone else can get their madonna and Yazz gear on, I'll have a Fat Pat moment ! I need a nice cardcoard cutout of Old Eldritch to lug about ...

Nobody's gettin nottin round here. My ovaries are killing me. He's catching up on his computer games. I'm trying to keep my inner bitch in check because I'm really tempted to go rip the cords out of those boxes in an effort to get him to spend time with me and our daughter after HE has been GONE SIX FRAKKIN months!
Oh, wait, this is supposed to be a positive thread, isn't it?
Well then, um....
The Kitten and I went to Mass at a different Parish than usual. The choir was wearing proper choir robes, the stained glass was simple yet beautiful, and there was a tiny gift shop where she got a book about Angels and I got another Crucifix to wear- both for 4 bucks even!

I'm so happy I'm safe in my bed, instead of, say, in a communist prison camp.

You know, despite my statement being an inside joke, I think your correction works just as well.

What the fuck are you talk about? Yoshi is tits. You could, literally, put Yoshi in the middle of a spectacular rack and still not notice the difference.

Oh men are so stupid sometimes - well their priorities are. I usually either end up flashing Mr Bat right in the middle of a game. He runs off in terror and I herd him towards the bedroom, where he's easy game once he's cornered.
Nothing's made my day.. I just came into see if I could pinch someone else's... sigh..

I may complain about my family and my terrible upbringing at times, but then my Mom goes and does something completely fucking awesome~sauce!
My Mom sent me a small giftcard for getting a 4.0 GPA. The money is not what matters. What I treasure is that it took me waaaaay back to my childhood when my Grandmother would reward our efforts to get As with a quarter for each A earned. Priceless memories. ^_^ If there is an afterlife then my Grandmother has surely earned her place in paradise for teaching so many people how wondeful love is.

I understand that feeling. That is really sweet.
What made my day yesterday is hearing that a good friend who has had a very troubled life is getting a promotion to Specialist in the army, and his dad is driving out to pin him. I am so proud of him I could almost glow in non monochromatic colors :o

My little boy wearing and doing up a pair of trousers with buttons and zips on them for the first time by himself. A seemingly small achievment you would think for a 7 year old but he's autistic and really struggles with things like that so this is a step forward towards getting him to be able to dress himself. Also, Mum's cancer has shrunk by another centimetre and a half.FUCK YESSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS.

Awesome news on both counts, MissCheyenne!
My children are both autistic and little things(like them putting their own shoes or shirt on) are celebrated around here. My son has gotten into the habit of clapping and saying "yay!" or "good boy!" when he does something good.
