A good movie.
I`m looking for a good movie to watch, but they`re all just too damn boring.
Horror movies aren`t scary! Comedy movies are just shit and lame.
I need a good movie. to be scared like shit, or for the movie to have a sick twist that i would go "what ? where? but.. but..!"
Any ideas?

There was a cheesy, cliched one I really liked called "Pinocchio's Revenge".

Gran Torino. You won't be bored. Action packed and tugs at the heart strings.

Ah, I had the privilege of viewing that on cable.
The Pinocchio puppet was actually frightening.
To me anyway.

Oh how I wish some company would make a birthday card with that sound byte in it.
It was a rather priceless moment.

So people's intelligence is directly related to whether or not they like the same movies that you do? How very JCC of you.

I liked Gattaca. It was a movie I first saw in 2003.
It was real good, but I forgot the name. Later, a few later, I learned the name and bought a copy of it. Nice movie. Nice music in it.

The film "Caddyshack" with Rodney Dangerfield was a real side splitter.
That is if you want an old comedy.

There is this old ass film... like, from the 70s or something, called "Burnt Offerings". Now, maybe part of the mystique was that I watched it at the house of a friend with whacked out Mormon parents who gave us creepy looks while we were watching the movie. I think they were trying to shock out of the various depraved, evil habits we had (like role playing). But I've seen it once since then and it still seemed pretty off the hook. The ending will do violence to your brain.

The best film I've seen recently is In Bruges, a dark comedy with some great images of the city. I thought it was really funny.
If you like Cube, you might like Dark City, the overall style of which reminds me of Cube a bit. I remember liking it, but cannot vouch for its quality since that was back when I used to smoke a lot of weed.
I prefer Hostel to Saw, but I tend to like the more atmospherical horror movies. If you don't mind camp you might enjoy House of 1000 Corpses and The Devil's Rejects.
If you want to try something more subtle I highly recommend Shadow of the Vampire.

No, but thinking a movie like Ghost World is "boring shit" indicates a person is too stupid to get the subtlety.
It has nothing to do with whether or not I like the movie.
Good try, though.

I'm going to watch it again, I don't remember much of it but thought of it when trying to come up with something that reminded me of Cube.
Guess I wasn't too far off if you do like it
