I quit!

I am gonna quit the MMOs and the games and go get a life!
Just kidding of course :P
But I did just decide to quit World of Warcraft in order to dedicate my time to more worthy causes. Something like music and reading.
I am logging off tonight and then I will attempt to not log on again.

The late content is actually interresting lore-wise as they finally decided to hunt down the Lich King. It's just not for me anymore, not right now anyway.

Dont quit just yet, Bioware (as in the guys who make nothing but game of the year RPGs) is comming out with their first MMORPG this time next year, Star Wars: The Old Republic. Every conversation in it for example is going to be done by voice actors, everything from learning how to use a lightsabers, to talking to some random trooper you see on the street, is going to have a voice actor behind it. They literally had to hire thousands of voice actors for this game. Best part is, they're not going to have sony around to ruin this Star Wars mmorpg. The game is going to have initially 40+ novels worth of story, and thats only going to go up as time goes on.

I kinda wanna spend my time on something other than the computer. (Which kinda kills the purpose of just buying a "new" graphics card...)

Forget reading, use the free time to exercise and lose weight. Instead of making a pointless thread saying you're going to do this, DO IT.

If you're spending all your time on your arse clicking a mouse and keys then all the dieting in the world will not help you.

You have the rest of your life to read books, however, if you don't get off your backside, move around and lose weight, you will probably not be alive to read said books for very much longer given your size ( no offence intended )

Why won't you try PopCap's Plants vs Zombies?

Just kidding. It's pretty boring.

Ahh, the ol' MMORPG monster rears its ugly head! lol No, but seriously, gaming -does- take up a great deal of time, if you're serious about it.

What kind of books are you interested in? [I'm on a Stephen King kick again myself.]

This. Seriously man, drop the weight while you're still young enough to do all the things good health allows you to get away with. This is the single most important thing you will ever do - your confidence will increase beyond all measure, you'll get some good sex, and you'll stop apologizing for yourself all the time. You don't want to wake up fifty and obese without good memories to look back on and death just around the corner.

To all of you; I am actually on the project of losing weight. I have been sick these past few days, but I have been walking more outside, and the gym starts monday(as I will be well enough to breathe without pain just about then) and I am changing my eating habbits slow but steady.
I even feel my appetite dropping and I cannot eat near the amounts I used to just months ago. So my diet is starting up well, the next step is decreasing the food intake enough to go below the calorie limit so it will start working and increasing how much I excercise. So it is actually going well if you ask me.

Good going. Fuck the gym though, walking is easier to stick to. Plus, you can probably find some exercise videos on youtube without expending the money and energy it takes to get to a gym.

I love going to the gym though, it's fun.
But yeah, excercise videos, probably gonna go with those as well.
It annoys me that they make bikes so flimsy though! (I know they are actually not, but if I sit on one, it will literally collapse..)

The one thing about Yoga though. Sure it's awesome, but my belly is kinda in the way, so I won't be able to do it for real before I actually lose weight.

Not that I know shit about it, but isn't yoga for suppleness rather than weight-loss? Cardio is the way forward when you have poundage that needs burning. You need heart-pounding sweat oozing from your pores.

Yeah, it's not just for weight loss, but it helped me start losing weight regardless.
