It's 3:12 AM. The bad news is that I have a huge paper due on Monday, and I am sitting here refreshing the BBC vote count like some fucking self-destructively anglophilic goon. The good news is that the Lib Dems and Labour together now have a slim majority.
I wasn't even nearly this invested in my own country's recent historic election. I just want David Cameron to suffer so badly.

Personally if I had a vote I'd vote Lib Dem. I'm fed the fuck up with Brown, he reminds me of Bliar too much. I hate Cameron because his policies are shite pretty much summed up by this: .

The live coverage pissed me off - they interrupted and eventually cut off Ian Hislop, then went mincing over to that Fern thing from This fucking Morning and let HER talk. Also, the graphics could have been lifted straight from Brass Eye.

So we sailed straight into a hung parliament as predicted. God knows why Gordon Brown undermined the constitution by allowing Cameron to make coalition offers first; the country hates you, it's a bit late for heroic displays of chivalry and you might've just steered us right into a Lib-Con coalition, you BASTARD.

Maybe those compering Brown to Blair will ease up a little. Blair, for all his faults, was never this inept.

Strange, strained days ahead for Brits, I'm afraid. One could hope for gridlock.

No, I suppose with the looming financial problems, gridlock won't do at all.

Breaking news (kind of) David Cameron is the new Prime Minister of the United Kingdom.

I'm going to go wrap myself in a blanket and rock myself to sleep.

If anything Clegg should be PM and Cameron his bitch. Fuck seat count, Lib-dem got the majority.

What the fuck? Do you mean the popular vote? The Tories won that, too.
The Lib-Dems do have far fewer seats per vote than the other two parties, though.

Yeah... what? The Lib-Dems didn't get a majority in any sense.

Coalition deal terms are surprisingly moderate. We'll see how it plays out.
