Greetings and such
Hello all! I'm Aska...or if you want, you can call me Alyssa. I'm from a small town in the middle of no where in Colorado and I am an old age of...19. Currently, I am a full-time college student looking to either major in journalism or history.
To go along with the questions that were asked...I like Clive Barker and my favourite movie is Hedwig and the Angry Inch. Musically, I like metal and I have a weakness for trance. Favorite band would be Agalloch. I really don't plan on getting married, I'm okay with "living in sin". Funeral wise...I'd like to be cremated and have my ashes thrown off of the shores of Denmark. I really don't have a favorite outfit, I just have a favorite skirt which is my Mindless Self Indulgence If one. I miss...the good cartoons that were shown while I was a kid. Children these days have horrible cartoons offered to them.
Last but not least...I joined just because I wanted to. A good reason, I know.

Thank you, everyone!
About Rabbit...he reminds me of a cranky old man that would squirt water on me if I walked on his sidewalk. I am feeling nostalgic which is why I have Tigger as my DP. Tigger was a dog of mine that passed away a few months ago and I recently found some pics of her.

Well, I highly doubt anyone would place me on a longship with weapons and other various items and let the ocean do it's thing...so I figured ashes would be the next best thing. I'm really into Norse Mythology and the vikings and I happen to have Danish ancestory in me too.

Yeah! The Damnation game got me hooked on Barker. Check out Cold Heart Canyon if you haven't already.

Imajica is on my list of must read soon. I will never forget what a new and exciting treat Books of Blood were when I first encountered them ... like the first time I read Ellison's "I have no mouth and I must scream."
Regarding the Journalism major, if you do this, try not to take too much from the current state of the art. Modern reporters often are lazy, don't fact check, use guttural slang and bad grammar, and in general are lousy communicators. (If I see one more television reporter start every other sentence with "Like," "You know," and my pet peave "Now," I will scream!) Study Edward R. Murrow and other old school journalists to learn how it should be done.
Welcome to this place. I look forward to your contributions.

I like Rabbit fine ... particularly in white wine or herb roasted. Ohh, and I found a honey roast rabbit recipe that sounds divine!
On the other hand, I'm not touching Eeyore.
