Cowboy Bebop

I just finished the series and found it to be epic. I'm a little bit sad about the ending but it's one of those moments where you just wish there was more to this amazing story.

Anybody else seen the series or the movie? Remarks or thoughts?

See you later, Space Cowboy...

I'm half tempted to get a tan, dye my hair and go as Ed for Halloween.

I still haven't seen the last episode though because someone ruined it for me.

The Mad Pierrot Le Fou and Brain Scratch were my favorite episodes. Altogether it was a great show.

Do any of you know the guy who cosplays Faye Valentine, Man-Faye?
(If you wanna look up any pictures of him cosplaying as her, Brace yourselves!)

Never heard of Man-Faye, don't particularly want to see it if it will ruin anything for me.

For some reason I thought the fight scene against Perro le Fou was perfect for the song they played which was one of the few non-jazz based tracks that they had going.

Saya, the final two episodes were probably the best of the series so they're worth watching, even if they are a little bit teary.

And if you ever somehow pull off Ed you have to show me some pictures, that would be one heck of a cosplay.

Oh others have done it before: http://www.cosplay.com/gallery/103845/

I could do it, its just up in the air right now as my Spike and Fay broke up, and I don't want to call one of them and ask "sooooo...still going to do the Cowboy Bebop thing for Halloween together?" not just yet anyway. If not I go as Rebecca Chambers from Resident Evil.

Still my favorite anime of all time. Strangely, it is not well known in Japan.

I liked Cowboy Bebop alot. It turned me onto jazz more than anything else has. You know I don't get "turned on" by jazz (although it offers some interesting alternatives for sex with inanimate objects) Plus I want the song from episode 20 Pierrot le Fou to be played at my funeral. The movie was awesome too. I saw it before I saw the series, and it still made sense. Except for the whole back story as to why they were all hanging together.

Man faye isnt a spoiler, he's just this one guy who dresses up as faye. I've seen a picture of him once, very disturbing.

Outlaw Star is better, in my opinion. I haven't seen CB, but I stand by my statement, if I find I like CB better, I will retract it.

I loved Outlaw Star but I'd pick Cowboy Bebop, no contest. I think it's because of Ed and Ein, I just adore those two.

I love some of the blues tunes in OS, the one in episode 5, and the one in ep 20.

I had a friend who coplayed Ed.

For me Bebop is slightly better than Outlaw Star. I love both series though.

Bebop Thread = Epic.

Its a genre in itself.

Have you seen the scene in Ballad of Fallen Angels, when Vicious is warring with Spike && throws him out the cathedral window??

Christ that scene was gorgeous.

When hes falling and 'Green Bird' is playing in the background ... fricken eerie.

Little known fact about the universe of Cowboy Bebop:

The reason it's almost all Jazz music is because jazz is regarded as a Zen style of playing music as it's controlled spontaneity!

But, I'd have to agree, Cb is my favorite show ever. Mushroom Hunting is my favorite episode, mostly because ein thinks he's a little toy dog after eating bad mushrooms. I thought it was hilarious.

Cowboy Bebop is one of my all time favorite animes. I also own the movie.

And trust me, the movie does not disappoint. I think it plays nicely off of the series.

There's a rumor they are making a live-action movie of it. Keanu Reeves is supposed to play Spike...

I think it's gonna suck.

I'm not too keen on seeing Mr Reeves play as spike either but who knows? I may be pleasantly surprised. If he does pull it off convincingly, I will be over the moon.

Taking a minute to think about him actually do this in the movie made me so angry I head-butted a kitten.
