Help needed (Dr. Martens boots)

Does anyone have these boots?

I would really like to know, which are the measures of these boots. I mean, circumference of shin. And how high are these boots?

I would like to order them, but having fat shins makes it complicated...
My UK-size is 6, european 39.

My husband has those very same boots. As soon as I get home from work today, I'll measure for you. Trust me, I know how you feel...I have super large calves and have an extremely hard time finding boots to accommodate them. There are so many beautiful boots I would love to own (namely, most of the knee high styles from Pennangalan), but I can't get even close to buckling the buckles...I need like an extra 3-4 inches.

I am SOOO sorry, I completely forgot to post back to you! Well, if it's not too late, I measured my husbands docs (14 eye size 8), and the circumference at the top, with the boots laced completely closed, is 12" around.
