I'm not talking about them. I'm talking about the over saturation of the "gawffic" scene in my town. Kids who shop at obscure gawffic clothing lines and worship Manson, CoF, and maybe even Bauhaus if they know any better.
You see, the thing is, these... kids seriously think that they're going to go to their goth event to hear metal or shock rock. So, the DJs have to spin Harsh EBM or borderline Industrial Metal. Those are called scenesters, we have them in the metal scene as well, so I feel your pain. Usually they're the ones who think Cradle of Filth is Black Metal, or who like Slipknot...

From videos I've seen, Slipknot put on a great live show, very energetic. Yeah, he wanks the mask's nose, that's a bit off-putting.

It kind of seems halfway done to me, if you;re going to wank something on stage make it your actual cock, now that speaks stage presence to me. 'Course I don't hold much respect at all for most concerts, the bands in them or the audience, is it archaic to go to a concert for music? Getting drunk and high off my nut and not hearing a word of the music just isn't something I consider a good time.

Slipknot are heavier than most metal, considering that actual Metal is Iron Maiden and Judas Priest and Manowar and shit like that.
If you've ever listened to Judas Priest, Slipknot is the most brutal music you'll hear compared to that shit.
