DIY jewellery

Does anyone else do this?

I can't buy anything in shops, they just don't sell it and I cannot order online, so I'm constructing my own!!!!!

I'm using oven bake modelling clay at the moment. I'm currently doing a bauhaus keyring . I'll post a pic when it's finished.

If anyone has pics of theirs I'd love to see them.

I haven't made jewelry yet with polymer clay just little people. Wizards, fairies, old hags and the like. No pictures of any of them because I gave them all away as gifts. Can't wait to see what you come up with!

Shrinky Dinks are fun to make jewelery with also. Avery makes shrink plastic that you can print your design on with an inkjet printer. I've made pins, charms and pendants. Again, I have nothing, I give everything as gifts.

I've only done it once, but I'd gladly do it again. I made an elven circlet out of beads and silver wire for the first viewing of Lord of the Rings - Return of the King to go with my elven dress. It hurt my fingers to do it, but I was very proud of the end result. Too bad it got crushed a few years back (being my first, it wasn't very good quality, and wasn't really intended as such) when my brother sat on it.

The closest I've gotten to making my own jewelry is repairing jewelry that I bought or was given. I love necklaces. I have a puka shell necklace to represent my love for being at the beach, a necklace with the symbol of my faith, and a necklace that is a logo of a metal band I like. I have some rings, but they were given to me.

I was pulling apart a computer and I thought it was pretty so viola jewelery lol. I own more jewelery than most people because it's fun to make. I must have spent hundreds of dollars over the years and now I have no money.
