Fashion DIY tips and gratuitous plugs. And hair. Hair! Flow it, show it. Wait...no. That's some hippie musical. Nevermind. |

Bras.
Did a quick search for this, didn't see anything, apologies if there's already a thread for this. For ladies with bigger boobs, i.e D cup and over, what are some of the better push-up bras around?
I don't trust anyone but VS, but sofar as I can tell all of their pushup bras either push IN for added cleavage or push UP but also add like two cup sizes to your chest. I feel like D's are ample enough and any bigger would look stupid.
Thanks in advance, and sorry/you're welcome to all the boys.

Figleaves.com has a great selection of bras in all sizes, no one brand that they carry is popping to mind but I don't wear a lot of pushups. It is a British company but I've still found their prices and shipping to be pretty fair, and you can shop by size and style which I always find a plus.

Why would you want a push-up bra if you have D tits?

That's what I'm stumped on as well. So you don't want a push up bra that pushes in, or indeed, up... which way do you want them pushing exactly?
Or did you mean you want a push up but with no padding to make them look bigger?
I suspect you mkight struggle to find a push up bra in a D cup or over, as most women that size don't tend to need any more oomph !!

Push-up bras do add much needed support for women with big knockers. I suggest taking a look at Hips and Curves, its plus size lingerie, so they may not have a size small enough for you, but it never hurts to look.

Erm I'm a good bit larger than a D and I like to wear a pushup bra every now and then for added oomph. Just cuz you have big tits doesn't mean you don't want to really show them off.

No one said that was the case. Simply that if you think about it from the company's point of view, or even as a casual observer, if a woman has big tits they're going to be pretty noticeable anyway regardless of clothing style, so extra padding isn't really a necessity or major selling point for the general majority of those women.
I know a few women with big boobs, one of my closest friends is an F cup ( I can fit her bra cup on my head !!) , and it seems the main selling point , at least for the women I know in real life, is to find a bra that is not only well made but also pretty/sexy looking. I've yet to hear any of them say they want even more cleavage. I can fit a fair few random things in my bra but my friend could practically smuggle a small herd of elephants in hers!

I'm sure that it depends on the bra and the boobs in them. Each style has its on merits and drawbacks and each set of breasts is unique.

Honeythorn, yes that's right what you said. I want them pushed up but I don't want them any bigger. All of VS' bras boast pushups with 2 added cup sizes. I tried one on at a store and felt ridiculous. I once accidentally found a great one at a consignment store (not used) and it was like 5 dollars but I can't find the brand anywhere. I don't mind them pushing in as well, but I would rather just have them lift UP without adding to the bulk. Oh well, thanks for all the websites guys.

As an update, after writing this thread, I keep seeing ads on the top of my screen for "Big Girls' Bras" and a photo of an overweight woman with what seems to be missiles attached to her chest with pink satin cranes.
