Literature Please come visit. People get upset, write poetry about it, and post it here. Sometimes we also talk about books. |

Soggy Bread.
there's a cold on my skin and it's
I..
it's sort of slimy, I think
a cold
a wet kind of cold
permeating
me turning me into soggy bread
break apart slowlike
there's a cold in my throat
it's this kind of salty
gritty cold
I can't fight against
the slime was almost soothing--oh well
soggybreadbreakapart
sticks to your hands
don't let it get in your hair
or you'll decompose
too.

If you're being sincere, thank you very much, and I'd really like to hear why.
If you're not being sincere, ok then.

Well I did actually like it.
I just assumed there was supposed to be a bit of humor in there too.

I didn't know we were bickering at the moment.
In other news, it was inspired by drowning. Er...not my drowning, but the thought of drowning. And a few other things, but those belong to me.

An interesting comment from my beau on this:
I felt like I just climbed out of a pool in clothes that should NEVER be wet, but the clothes were my feelings.
Anyone else get this feeling? I thought it was really interesting.
