G'day, my gorgeous, gothic friends!
Hi, everyone!
I'm Minki and I can't believe I've finally found a forum for goths! XD Yay! Anyway, I thought I betta just come on here and make myself known to everyone here. I'm a goth at heart. I don't have to wear tonnes of make-up to feel good about myself or to make people think I'm goth. I still manage to look as goth as a girl can get without the heavy eyeliner, mascara and black eye shadow!
I'm an Aussie and I'm proud of it.
I'm currently studying in the information techonology field and I love the work that I do. For anyone here whose heard of Cisco, I've completed CCNA1 and hope to oneday complete 2, 3, and 4. I know it's pretty unusual for a computer nerd to be goth, but I don't care. That's just who I am. If you don't like it, stick it up the rear hole! Otherwise, I hope we can be friends and ... yeh. Also, I'm a member of evthreads.com which is a forum for Evanescence fans. If you're a member there, feel free to PM me for a chat!
Yours trully,
Minki.

Hello. You're welcome here, but you're not going to like what I'm about to say, haha:
Bleh, Evanescence.

Oooh. What part of Australia are you from? And you might be a little disappointed to know that PMs are disabled on this site, which sucks donkey just a little bit.

Australia is like the shiznit. Even though it's in the middle of a drought, I still like it for its kangaroos and koalas.
I was once misinformed long ago that children in Australia ride kangaroos going to school. x)

But onto actually maybe having a new friend, you seem pretty cool, I to am attempting to cut back slightly at the thickness of my eyeliner, as for a little while their I was getting out of hand. Welcome to GNet, and I hope you don't piss off to many people, but don't worry, everyone pisses of everyone else sometime...

Welcome! I <3 Evanescence. I don't care what anyone else thinks of them. Their lyrics mean a lot to me. I saw them in concert two weeks ago, and they were AMAZING live. I also got to meet 3 of the band members, and they were extremely nice & funny.

Hello! You sound nice...and scary chirpy.
It is snowing here...again...in APRIL! which is making me all depressed, so the fact that you're from Australia, where it's probably nice and warm is very annoying to me.

I personally think Evanescence isn't bad-my cousin in Alabama likes them, she's getting into goth and she listens to them and the Cure as starters. She knows the difference between that AND goth music, though. I haven't seen her in a while...probably visit soon.

It's not weird for a computer nerd to be goth. Not at all. I'm serious.
I'm a computer nerd, too.
I'm not goth, but I am to someone uneducated.
I don't like Evanescence one bit :O
Welcome to the forums.

I love Evanescence, "Snow White Queen" saved my life, ; P
Don't let them get you down. Stay chirpy, nerdy, and aussie (just don't steal the zoobiscuits) Everybody pisses off everybody, but we eventually end it with lively discussions on the undersides of reptiles vs. felines
