Goggles!

Won a pair of goggles similar to these today. They've got opaque welding lenses so I'll need to get those switched for regular sunglass lenses by my optician - fingers crossed it doesn't cost too much.

I remember someone asking where they could find sunglasses with the metal sideguards - these are they. They're the same ones Doctor Steel wears. Ebay has 'em. Searching for "vintage goggles" and trying every week will get you some.

Hmmm, I have seen something like those at a local gun show in a military surplus vendor booth. Now I shall keep my eyes peeled.

Very nice goggles. Do you sue them instead of glasses? I have to use glasses, but I sometimes use transparent contact lenses.

They are really nice.
Damnit! All I have is these shitty goggles.
And yes, I got them free with a subscription to a science magazine.

You have reminded me of this spy gear toy (http://www.spygear.net/images/toys/spyLightHand.jpg )
It may be a bit cyber but I still think it would look good.

It has lights on your fingers. It's something a 12-year-old would like.

Yeah, but I would just like wearing it and not using it.
Maybe to blind angry rednecks though.

A cheap plastic thing with rubber tubes?

If anyone other than a kid wore it, everyone would make fun of them.

If a kid wore it, all their friends would make fun of them.

You don't need a kids toy to look like a 12yr old, btw. You do a fine job of it as it is.

Ugh. Just because I thought it was cool doesn't mean it was.

Jesus, don't use my words to try to prove your point. I'd swallow them up and piss them out so you couldn't quote me.

Guys. Shut the hell up. NONE of you is looking terribly mature right now, in any of the threads I've poked my nose into recently. Please, drop all this stupid bickering. You're all old enough to know better.

Anyway, back to the goggles. I wanna see what goggles you folk have. Photos and lots of posing please!

It may be a bit cyber but I still think it would look good.

Two more LED lights, longer tubes and some black Under Armor type gloves could lend to something better.

And nooooooooo, broken-harlequin, this does not give you the right to gloat.

Mighty fine goggles you won there, c130. IMO, they look a bit bland, but shaded lenses should work wonders on them I think.

"Court shit?"

Anyway, goggles are AWSE! I can't really pull them off because of glasses and things..
But I would just love to have a pair of funky steampunk goggles.

And why thank you Vyvian blackthorne for such wonderful compliments. See you in the afterlife!

I have black bug eye goggles, a white pair with spinning red swirls on the lenses and and ancient pair of Wilson welding goggles.
