I was/am cheering for the Dutch, but have to admit the Uruguayans are putting up quite a battle. It's still 1-1 at the 68' mark.

Now it's 1-2 favoring the Dutch.

Yeah. I really think the Dutch make a better match against either Spain or Germany than Uruguay would have made, so I am very happy about that outcome.

Wow! I am a bit shocked. Spain beat Germany 1-0. I did not expect that.
But the Spaniards were pretty clearly in control for most of the game, and they certainly created a lot more opportunities around the goal.
I'm afraid the Dutch are in for a handful.
Congratulations to Spain for advancing to their first World Cup final EVER!!!

And it's over. Spain wins! Remarkable since they scored only 8 goals in 7 games, but their defense was amazing and they scored when they needed to.
And to the Spanish people, and the many fans of their team around the world, I say congratulations on winning your first-ever World Cup championship!

Indeed, it was nice to see Spain win after the antics of the Dutch players. It just looked dirty overall.
And because the Netherlands lost, guess which team was the only undefeated team? ALL WHITES.
