Fuck this! I'm leaving!
No, I'm lying. I have no intention of leaving. But I have every intention of saying it's my birthday.
So, they buried my good friend the day before my birthday.
He was a great guy. Compassionate to the very end. He lived life to the fullest and was a great example of how people should be.
So... if any of you want to do something cool for my birthday or what have you, gifts... ect. I ask of one of two things. Live this day to the fullest that you can or if the opportunity arises, do something randomly kind throughout the day.
That is all.

Happy Birthday and many condolences. I've had someone pass away who was very close to me only two years ago, so I hope you cope with it well.

Happy birthday, Kontan. Best wishes to you in coping with your friend's death, as I know how much it hurts to have a friend pass away, and so close to your birthday, too. He died on mine.

My 24th wasn't that great either but, by way of comparison, getting the heave-ho from the love of my life on my birthday doesn't compare to losing a friend.

I'm going to do my best to honor your wish, of course.
The way you described your friend reminds me of mine who passed away exactly seven moths ago as of yesterday, so I understand how you must feel. I give you my condolences and a hug.
