Edit: It was probably closed because it had gotten far too big to keep around.

I don't think deleting a trivial thread designed to allow people to get more posts to get features most of them probably now have anyway is legitimate cause for sadness.

Loooong threads have a computer storage and access time penalty. It is easier to manage and search shorter threads.
