Well, that makes my lip curl ten ways to Sunday.
I tried to adopt names forever, but I could never call myself anything without getting giggly - except Sarah, for some reason. But I name everything Sarah (cars, toasters, purse).
I think I lucked out, in that my name is rather Victorian and rather goth, while actually being Latin. So it works out quite well. I don't think I'd be as pleased if I was named Taffy or Sunny.
I nearly changed my name to Lucretia, but there was too much paperwork involved and my grandma's feelings would have been hurt.
Sometimes though, I wish my father had won the name game. He wanted to name me Valeria Savannah Naomi (yes indeed, from Conan, Mad Max, and his high school sweetheart).
