Opinon Poll
Okay, there is a club that several old friends frequent, but you've turned into a homebody and may have snubbed or slighted everyone you ever knew. You are invited to said club, yet based on past experience the evening will probably be uncomfortable, at best boring, but it is free.
What do you do?

This poll is not the least bit intriguing because I have worked very hard to make my home a very comfortable and entertaining place. So a place has to offer something pretty special or necessary before I'm going to volunteer to be there instead of home. My friends feel the same way so they wouldn't be going to or asking me to go to such a hypothetical place.
Plus, those snobs have no idea who they're fucking with.
So, yeah, kill the dog and keep the money.

Well I wasn't so much a jerk as a spaz. That's why it is so uncomfortable. Plus, it is crowded.
As for being invited. It is a Goth Industrial club and I get along with Industrials. In fact, a bunch of Goths might be starting a problem. We were all aquaintances at one time, but the owner of the club is Hardcore Tech Industrial, so if we can't get along, they might have to take a walk. So I'm really trying to get along (as much as possible for an old homebody who has anxiety attacks especially in crowds), and it's just blah.

I'm having trouble understanding why you're even considering going. You don't like crowds, you think the night won't go well, and you're uncomfortable around the people you call your friends. I suggest you stay home instead.

The only Jesus that would be reading or posting on a gothic website would be "Creaming Jesus" or "Jesus and Mary Chain" or the like.

I'm going. Figure out tonight isn't tonight the older set, people I grew up with, goes to the club. Believe it or not, I'm extremely extraverted and feel more comfortable going to social events on my own. I'll probably dance. That is a new part of my regular workout. (Mainly creeped out by large bodies of water.)
