I'm baaack

Yeah. My hiatus is over, because my good friend Ms. Ravenesque claims the site is better now than during the turmaoil, and better yet, more musically oriented! So, uh, I return!

1. What do you do? (Hobbies, job)
I'm getting into electric stuff, like I plan to make a portable stereo system soon. I'm into computers; next school year, I'm getting a degree in computer repair. I'm getting into photography recently, and I've found I'm actually pretty good at it.

2. Where are you from?
Massachusetts

3. Who is your favorite author?
Probably Anne Rice. I'm a sucker for a good vampire novel.

4. What are your favorite films?
Oh god. There are so many choices!
I love too many to go into them.

5. What music do you want played at your wedding?
Probably techno. Something witha driving, drum beat, an interesting tune, heavy enough so as not to be boring, yet still ambient. I dunno... I guess futurepop.

6. At your funeral?
Isn't obvious? Bela Lugosi's Dead by Bauhaus! Heh... Oh, and I Hate People by Anti-Nowhere League. Once I'm dead, I can be as insulting as I want.

7. This IS a gothic website, so... how do you want to die?
I wanna be zerg'd. In the literal sense. "A death of one thousand cuts"
Alternately, I would like to die in my lover's arms.

8. What kind of casket would you want?
Red velvet interior, black finish on the outside, the shape would be the, uh, I don't know the name :P The cliche vampire kind

9. What's your FAVORITE outfit?
A choker, a ballchain bracelet, looped around my wrist 4 times, a black buttondown shirt, black jeans.

10. What's one thing you miss about being a little kid?
Getting away with stupid things.

11. What's your favorite band?
So many of them.
KMFDM, Goldfinger, Die Krupps, AFI(their earlier work,) Mindless Self Indulgence, etc.

12. What kind of education do you have? What is/was/will be your major?
I go into High School next year. Don't belittle in your mind for my age. If you do, I'll, uh, eat your soul. I intend to major in three dimensional fine arts.

13. Why did you join?
'Cuz I'm cool like that.

14. If the first 13 questions didn't give it away. What is your gender?
I'm male.

Um, welcome back, Maggot... But I don't think the site has changed except for the banning of the more vocal members.

Hello, maggot. Nice to meet you. I never knew you before, but people talked about you highly, so I wouldn't mind getting to know you.

I'm not so sure about that. What I liked about this forum was the challenge it presented. There were people with such , um, obtuse standards regarding apparent intelligence that not getting flamed became a reward. And a bit of an ego booster, to be really honest... Plus the possibility of being able to engage with others on a higher - no, not higher... that's the wrong word- deeper level than "Why do you wear black? Where can I buy white makeup?" etc...
Now all that is slipping away under the torrent of blah blah blah. And that's depressing to me...
But whatever floats your boat...

Don't sell yourself short, sweetie. The senior members like you because you're intelligent and have interesting things to say, plus being an all-around cool banana - not just because you conform to some arbitrary grammar standard.

Although, you know Gnet - it helps...

Least, it used to.

Ohwellnevermind...

:P Aye.

Bananna also means an asian dude who acts white. Yellow on the outside, white on the inside.

I've never understood this "acting according to your race" thing... How do you act "Asian"? Or "White" for that matter?

Well, where I live, it's about the accent. Black, wihite and Asian Londoners, for example, all have fairly distinctive accents. English, but slightly different. I've heard people say things like, "blah blah talks quite black", meaning that the person has an accent like a black Londoner. Although I've never heard anyone say some talks white - I guess white is just assumed to be the norm. Which it is, I guess, statistically. No one makes a deal out of it around here though. It's very multicultural. We have the highest number of foreign students of any university in England, I've heard. It's nice, as I've learnt to recognie accents and can usually tell which counry people are from when I meet them now.
