I smoke to keep myself from killing people. Coughing up gunk is less of a hassle than trying to get blood stains out of the carpet.

I don't care about cigarette smoke, as long as they aren't menthols. Menthols and cigar smoke.... man.

Menthols are disgusting, as are cigars.
I enjoy the occasional Black, and use loose American Spirit for spiritual purposes, but other than that.. smoking tobacco isn't really my thing.

I've never smoked a menthol 'cause I was afraid of it tasting like toothpaste and tobacco. Does it?

I think it tastes the same as smoking and chewing really minty gum, but menthols make my throat hurt.

Yeah, when you aren't used to them they sort of make your throat shudder. I mean that literally. It doesn't close up, but it like...clutches...I don't know how to describe it.

I never had an issue with menthols. They're not my favorite thing but I don't mind them once in a while. They never tasted like toothpaste to me. You know how when you have something minty in your mouth your breath feels colder than it normally does? Menthols are like that, no real minty flavor, they just feel "cool."
