Music Finally, an entire forum devoted to talking about Doktor Avalanche, the drum machine for the Sisters of Mercy. You can talk about other bands, or other members of that band, too, if you want to be UNCOOL. |

Drac, you're the man, but you'd make a shitty superhero. That secret identity lasted three weeks.
As for FOTN, I'd be down for that, I never got into them.

You never got into them?! For shame. Let's hope that changes when I upload "the Nephilim" Friday. It took me a while to get into FotN, but now I find them orgasmic.

Draco, got any Sex Gang Children you'd like to upload? I'm having a terrible time finding their stuff for free.

Yesss this would be awesome
And I'm eagerly anticipating The Nephilim.
Saw them live in May. It was probably the most awesome show I've been to. Although I think it was about the same as Bauhaus.

Hmm... Fine, I'll get Sex Gang Children's "Song and Legend" up Friday instead. Everyone seems to have a hard time hearing them.

I'll be honest with you, I have The Nephilim, but I don't enjoy it. There's something about it that I don't like... I just don't like the atmosphere...
but Sex Gang Children would be much appreciated. I've never found any anywhere.

This blog should count as your gift to mankind Drac. I thoroughly enjoyed getting my hands on some Bauhaus and getting intro'd to Play Dead and I'm kind of digging the Shroud.

You are awesome!
Now I can try out more Goth artist, without fronting the money and finding out I don't like it.
=D!
I am so anxious to hear The Shroud. I love female fronted groups, and I like that I heard it's sort of reminecent of Enya, because that means it would fall in line with the Loreena McKennitt love I have.

Thanks, everyone. I do what I can. Now, maybe you can do me a favor and check out my band Address Unknown's latest song "the House of Usher"?

Aw, you went with my name suggestion?
<3
That bass part is fabulous, and the guitars fit over the top really well. Great vocals too.

Thanks. I tried to make it as miserable as possible. I think it needs to be longer though.

it is excellent. I just recommend more reverberation on the guitar, and make it a little brighter.. it's too loud as it is though... it's distracting from the rest. And the vocals should be a bit louder. I seriously like it though.

Might sound like a strange concept, but have you thought about using Beatcraft to put some techno in there, just subtly lying under the instruments to give it more layers?

I've thought about it, but the moment I use the slightest electronics, we'll be forever known as an industrial band. xD
