Honestly? I don't do anything special. Sit ups on an incline bench if I'm at a gym, or the edge of my bed if I'm at home. I really like leg throws for obliques, but it's hard to find someone to help me so I usually end up saying "fuck it..."
I think the biggest problems that people have, though, is losing body fat in that area and just keeping at it in general. A lot of guys I know have a strong core, but it doesn't show because they aren't skinny enough. I've been growing some love handles and I just don't care enough to do anything about it.
