Just twice?

I shouldn't jest, I'm hard of hearing because of chronic infections.

CANADA. The worst you must fear is Q-tips.

Err. My truck hit a tiny bomb, and another time, some asshole threw a grenade at me when I was chillin' next to a house.

Also. Canada would be my fortress of solitude if it wasn't for the FUCKING COLD. WHAT THE FUCK WERE YOU THINKING WHEN YOU SETTLED THERE?!

AMERICA. It's not as cold, sometimes.

And you snapped their necks with your bare hands, right?

The cold here isn't so bad. Everyone gets laid because its the best way to stay warm.

CANADA. Fucking like rabbits in a burrow.

Not really. The tiny bomb was kind of like "Did you hear something?"

Our trucks are really loud because they're American, and have shitty GM motors and lots of armor. Yay, cheapest bidder! But yeah, we never found the guy that did it/

And the grenade was more like "Heyguyswhat'sthaOHFUCKFUCKFUCKFUCKFUCKFUCKFUCKFUC KBOOMICANTHEARANYTHINGLOLOLOLOL."

But yeah. I'd rather be blow up then be cold.

I say "I've been blown up" because I was personally targeted. I've been around less spectacular explosions that were like "Whatever."

And after the loling you got in your chopper and hunted them down like wolves in Alaska, right?

You're killing my perception of the world police.

Kind of. My laptop is busted, but I have pictures of what a critical hit looks like in real life. :x

It's kind of weird. I'm not sure it was me or the other gunner, but this house that fired on us got lit the fucjk up. I did most of the shooting because I had at better sector then he didf, and theb guys that when in showed me trhe bodies later.

Edit: Yeah, I've had much too drink.

You're fine. XD I joke about it, it's just rare that I talk about it. I mean, I kind of compared some gross shit to a critical hit in an RPG. :x

The joke went over my head, I assumed it was real military jargon. I even translated RPG as rocket propelled grenade!

Fook, that's the American public in general. I can't really complain, though. I think services members actually get too much credit and appreciation.

Hrm. Know that most people in the military sit on their ass and leech off uncle Sam's teet... but I'm ready to be facetious again, if you don't mind.

So why are you awake so late?

I had a long nap when I got home from school. I didn't get much sleep this week.

Probably will go to bed soon but I wanted popcorn. Om nom nom nom.

Hey Versus, when were you in Iraq? A bunch of my Dad's mates were there sometime in 04' from memory and they kept rambling about how the Iraqs back then talked about how they accused U.S. forces of blowing up some building and them making snide remarks like:

"Well, gee. If it WAS the U.S. then I doubt they'd be a single brick left where your crappy building is left".

That was my first impression of the World Police, hearing people talk about how some half-assed attempt at blowing up a building was un-American. Real Americans finish the job.

Haha. That's entertaining. Good times.

Anyway, I was there in 08'. Pretty much when it started to die down and get boring.

But not late enough to dodge a grenade?

Also, I presume you've seen Generation Kill? Even though my father never went to Iraq he claimed it was the best dramatized "Summary" of the initial Invasion process.

I'll toss you my MSN. I notice a lot of threads turn into small talk between us about this time.

Well you have to understand that 2 years before I came into the army, Tal Afar, Mosul, and Fallujah were very real. They were before my time. and they were the real suck.

Its not that I don't like the song, its the association with the puppet sex scene.

I do my best to ignore that scene and focus on the moment when Mike Moore does what Stern does in the Gnet Zombie story. It was too funny for words.

I can't ignore it! I love the movie but my sister thought it was a great idea one year to put it on while we were having thanksgiving dinner. When that scene came on it got really awkward and quiet.
