I love when you get crushed in a mosh pit and you get pulled up from the floor and the guy who annihilated you gives you a hug, then backs up and slams into you again. I love the tiny tattooed girl in every mosh pit that never leaves it and despite being significantly smaller than the rest of the crashers, acts like a goddamn raging bull. I want to marry that girl.

My additions - I luv...
1) I love to have a good cup of Lapsang with my first cigarette of the day.
2) Rainy, stormy afternoons curled up with a really good book.
3) Cold - I keep my air conditioning at 70 - weird that I live in the tropics.
4) My black cat Ginsburg- he looks like a black Siamese which pretty much describes his lineage. He is my familiar.
5) STRONG, black coffee.
6) J.S. Bach. Especially the Cello suites.
7) The beach at night - especially during a storm - windy with lightening- (I live on the coast).
8) Fortum and Mason tea - especially Queen Anne tea or Afternoon tea.
9) Edward Gorey - I want to live in an Edward Gorey world. Actually I think I DO live in an Edward Gorey world.
10) Gustavian furniture.
11) Murder mysteries.
12) Rooms with a view
13) The number thirteen.

Someone's feeling perky
But, thankfully, I can presently relate.
I'm loving the cold, gloomy weather and I hope it lasts.

Ooh, yes. I took a photography class and I loved it. We developed our pictures on this giant photo paper, using pinhole cameras we made. The photos turned out quite surreal looking in black & white.
That was two years ago. I would love to do that again.

I'm jealous. And the photo is deliciously haunting.
I love chocolate cake. I'm glad it was someone's birthday today and he brought cake to share.

They are great for grab shots and fun to work with, because you don't have to worry about potentially breaking an extremely expensive piece of equipment. Haha. My current assignment requires me to take a studio portrait with a RolleiFlex camera and black-and-white film.

I don't want to just be contrary, but honestly, how the hell is that picture "deliciously haunting?"
...it's some kids playing and eating lunch on a playground on a sunny day.

The Smiths suck.
"So now you've got a whole bunch of kids walking around saying 'did you hear the new smiths album? It's fucking terrif!' in a stupid English twang."
