I think you might like Christian Death and Fields of the Nephilim for starters.

I like this song I'm listening to by Christian Death. It's called Believers of the Unpure.
Any newer stuff though?

At least this one seems ready and willing to learn, I'm more than happy with that
Go here to find some good bands in general (some I'm sure you already know some you most likely don't)
To be honest I hadn't been to the music section in a while and I remember it being a little easier to find an intro to goth music but you can sift though and find a good bit. If you don't really feel like looking then a good place to start is with some of the older goth bands like Siouxsie Sue and the Banshees, Bauhaus, the Cure, and Joy Division.

I'd suggest checking out stuff from the albums Only Theatre of Pain, Catastrophe Ballet or Ashes to discover the REAL Christian Death. The song you're listening to there is from Valor's Christian Death, which pales in comparison to the original band when fronted by Rozz Williams. It really shouldn't be called Christian Death at all.
Sadly newer stuff is never going to happen thanks to Rozz offing himself back in 1998.

Only Theatre of Pain is their best album, IMO.
Very sad, indeed...

Yeah, Only Theatre of Pain will always be the classic. One of the first goth albums I owned.
Oh and for the OP, if you were after some newer bands rather than newer Christian Death here are a few to look up:
Bloody Dead and Sexy, Tragic Black, Cinema Strange, All Gone Dead, Scarlet's Remains, Shadow Reichenstein, Eat Your Makeup, Deadchovsky, Jacquy Bitch, Miguel and the Living Dead, the Last Days of Jesus, Frank the Baptist, Voices of Masada, and a whole lot of others if you do some research. Not all specifically gothic rock, but definitely listen-worthy.
