a little about me
i am no longer Shadow Dweller i am now Phoenix Draven and i love meeting new ppl i just recently went gothic and just want to say i love it and would love to meet other goths

I'll accept you, but you first have to not call you a goth, alright?
I feel you do not have the knowledge of what Goth really is, so keep yourself neutral and open-minded while being here until you know a little more about the subculture.
Just a little tips to begin with (not trying to be condescending, by the way):
Hot Topic = Not Goth
Tim Burton = Not Goth but Loved by Goths (generally)
Slipknot = Not Goth
Marilyn Manson = Not Goth
Metal/ Death Metal = Not Goth
Bauhaus = Goth
Specimen = Goth
Depression = Not Goth
Eating Babies = Totally Goth!

I would say that's unwise. Because it will inevitably wind up on the floor, and then squished out, and then you will inevitably end up slipping on it while hefting the giant yellow plastic crowd-surfing banana. And that would be just unfortunate. And most un-goth.

Also, you can't "go goth" unless it's part of a Halloween costume. "I went goth for Halloween" makes sense. "I recently went goth" makes you sound like a fucktard.

Go and look up goth on wikipedia.
Although you can't really fully understand goth without being with one or being one. (some would disagree) Wikipedia gives a lot of info.

They must be young. This got me thinking: what is the age of the youngest member of Gnet? Just thinking in terms of the upper and lower limits. I believe I have the upper limit record, but just wondering who has the lower limit.

We have some fourteen year olds here, but I think that is the youngest we have.
