Hello everyone,
I wouldn't say that I am goth, but I am open-minded and enjoy experiencing the unconventional. I am a freethinker at heart.
1. What do you do? (Hobbies, job)
I am a caretaker for my aging and disabled parents.

Pennsylvania
3. Who is your favorite author?
Currently, Gregory Maguire
4. What are your favorite films?
I do not have any favorites.
5. What music do you want played at your wedding?
What wedding? I am not getting married.
6. At your funeral?
No funeral please. Cremate me and scatter my ashes. Be done with it.
7. This IS a gothic website, so... how do you want to die?
Quickly - and sometime before they cremate me.
8. What kind of casket would you want?
None.
9. What's your FAVORITE outfit?
No favorites really, but not black.
10. What's one thing you miss about being a little kid?
I do not miss it.

Lacuna Coil

Hi there, and welcome to the Boards.
A caretaker for your parents? That must be exhausting at times. Do you have a support network? What other things do you like to do with your time? Or is that pretty much all that you get to do?

I'm just gonna put this out there: Lacuna Coil sucks. They're a gimmick band.

SHIT! I was trying to be nice. This is like the second or third member so far that claimed that Lacuna Coil was a good band. You know what, I'm chalking it up like this. Opinions are like assholes. But for my sake, I couldn't like Lacuna Coil. There was just something... plastic about them. They were forced in my opinion.

Lacuna Coil is my Current Obsession.
Cold Heritage makes me cry.
I listen to Wave of Anguish or Swamped after work
and to Humane when I am really depressed.
Christina Scabbia has an angelic voice in my opinion. She sings like a true Italian, almost operatic.

It can be exhausting, but I can think of worse ways to spend my time. I have good friends I think, and so does my mom so that helps. I like to spend time online reading up on various interests and interacting with others on various forums, baking, cooking, reading, tinkering with Photoshop, and teaching myself guitar.

Thanks for your opinion. I still like them, and I am sure I also like other music you hate as well. I have very eclectic taste. I'll listen to everything from classical to Hindustani, Celtic to tribal, metal to rhythm and blues - mainstream, up-and-coming, and fairly obscure. If I like it, I like it. Nothing else matters.

I'm also glad to see you stand behind your opinion.
The majority of people that like Lacuna Coil, though, only say they do because they think Lacuna is oh-so-goth. Once they're informed they change immediately.
