sometimes, people get a sense of safety related to what they believe is online anonymity.
this person, he came to g-net and began posting insane amounts of silliness. he was called on his behavior and took offense to that, used it as a fulcrum to create different accounts, behind what he believed to be a safety-net as his ip allowed for a constantly changing online address. what he didn't realize was that his posts could still be traced to his permanent address.
the police in my town will be apprised of the situation tomorrow. it's protocol. local before federal. i still haven't decided whether or not i should formally request an intervention, although my friend has stated he will wait for my decision.
whacko or not, there are rules concerning online behavior.
