Music Finally, an entire forum devoted to talking about Doktor Avalanche, the drum machine for the Sisters of Mercy. You can talk about other bands, or other members of that band, too, if you want to be UNCOOL. |

Discuss this universal truth.

If you mean literally, well, yes, this is truth.
( Where to now St. Peter is my favorite EJ song.

Honestly, the only thing I ever remember from him was some song from the early-mid 90s in which the video had some zeppelins floating around. I thought it was a cool video.
Then again, there were a lot of cool video back them. There were a couple Madonna video I loved... Dammit! Now I want to download some Madonna!!!

Madonna is one of the few pop artists who I often enjoy listening to. Frozen was the song I liked in particular.
Elton John on the other hand.. No, thanks.

Wow, you definitely haven't listened to Elton John if you consider him pop...

Actually if you will read my previous post carefully, then you will see that I refer to Madonna as the pop artist, not Elton John.
However, since we are going into genres, I am pretty confident that majority of his work is considered Pop Rock.

I've never liked Elton John too much since my father is a major fan and has played his records all the time for years. Nothing really wrong with the music, I'm just sick of hearing it, and associate with my ugly living room.
The funny part of the story is that my father is a huge homophobe.

Elton John is the fucking man. Great prolific artist, and hilarious during award acceptance speeches! xD
My all time favorite of his would be Rocket Man.

Oh oh oh oh!
'I remember when rock was young
Me and Suzie had so much fun
holding hands and skimming stones
Had an old gold Chevy and a place of my own
But the biggest kick I ever got
was doing a thing called the Crocodile Rock
While the other kids were Rocking Round the Clock
we were hopping and bopping to the Crocodile Rock, hey!
Elton John is pure win.

Elton John is good, but I prefer Billy Joel.
