They are bad for you!

When I was eleven, I used to know a group of kids that would go to a shop and buy about 8 cans of cheap energy drinks which they would drink all at once, and then come into school, complete nervous wrecks, puking and whatnot. Just looking at them made me feel ill.

Of course, they claimed it was "soooo cool" and got them "soooo high", probably because it was the nearest thing they had to real drugs and alcohol at the time. Tuh.

I had an aunt that drank a whole bottle of listerine when she flew of the wagon.
Doesn't mean I avoid all alcohol like the plague.

They taste like poo. I had to work an 18 hour shift one day and made the mistake of drinking two huge cans of Monster and taking 2 Excedrin tablets. I've never felt more in sick my life.

If you drink it after brushing your teeth, it actually does taste like poo. I tried drinking 2 cans once... didn't make that mistake again.

I had three cans of Red Bull once to keep myself awake during a show (it´s bad manners falling asleep onstage, no matter how many exams you´ve got), and I felt sick for days afterwards. I really don´t like them; most of the ones allowed here in Norway leave me with an aftertaste that reminds me strongly of the taste of an iron rod or something. Eew. I´ll rather have proper iced tea - not the sugary water posing as ice tea - if I´m on the run, thank you very much.

Yes, they're bad for you, if you drink that many at once. However, in moderation, they be good. Just don't be drinking alot when you're out in the hot, hot sun.

I love energy drinks when I have to stay up late at night.

I usually drink the following:

~ Full Throttle
~ Monster Khaos
~ Monster Assault
~ NOS
~ Sobe No Fear

And for the special occasions, I break out the Mana Energy Potions. They smell horrible, and taste like shit, but you feel epic after drinking them!

Blech...I've always stayed away from them. In spite of hearing reports that Vamp tastes like concentrated Pixy Stix, I still can't help but feel they'd taste gross.

Energy drinks are great in moderation.
I like Rockstar, Nos, Sobe, Lost, 180 and Red Bull.

Ech, no.
I can do insomnia and dusk til dawn dancing at clubs without the aid of caffeine and taurine and fuckknows what else that's in those things. Can't stand the taste or smell of them either. Other people may want/need them, but they're just not for me.
Mind you, I don't even drink coffee.

I am one of the rare few who enjoyed the original Mother drink (I don't get why people say it's bad), and I occasionally have some Wild but... I only buy it on special ie. two for blah dollars, and so one is okay and I get all giggly like, then I have the second one because I get all addicted to the taste, and after that second I don't stop shaking for an hour...

Overall, they're fun in moderation XD
