I would say I'm like a bra, but in this case it would be more like 'jockstrap' wouldn't it?

10 pounds in two weeks? I've never heard of losing weight that fast.

It was possible. Pretty much plenty of lean meats and salads with nuts for snacks. I ended up eating 4 to 5 times a day. I'm starting to look kinda curvy instead of a weird eggplant shape.

Interview went well; VERY well. In fact it went so well ... um, they say don't count your chickens, so I dare not say more until a day or two from now, but barring bad drug test or background check results (which I'm not expecting) I should have some much better news.

Ordered a mass shipment of comics based on recommendations (I've been mostly reading on recs since I finished studying last month, since most the the things my friends have spent the last few years raving about have passed me by what with the whole studying and holding down 1-3 jobs thing). Am now surrounded by lovely comics, getting excited like a little kid at all the pretty colours.
I'm going to spend all day reading them in the garden and eating Haribo. I don't give a FUCK.

I spent 6 hours at the hospital today with a girl about to have a baby. I serve as an "unofficial" step-father to her, so was tensely waiting it out with her mom. Her water broke this morning, so they rushed to the hospital, and while she was a little early (her due date was supposed to be mid-July) the doctors and nurses were optimistic that it would be okay.
Girl held out for a regular delivery for as long as she could stand it, but she wouldn't dilate beyond 9 cm. After a while some other factors came into play, like being tired of being in pain, and she agreed to a c-section. So mom and baby are fine (baby is 5 lbs, 9 oz and 18 3/4 inches long, born 9:50 pm CST) and I am home, happy but tired. I'll go visit the mom again tomorrow and see if I can get another look at the newborn cutie.
Oh, and one other thing. I've heard, from time to time, some men claiming that passing a kidney stone is an equivalent amount of pain to what a woman experiences in childbirth. The only way that isn't one of the most ridiculous and insulting claims is if the guy is passing a kidney stone the size of a bowling ball.

A friend of mine passed a kidney stone and had given birth to kids and she claimed that the kidney stone was a walk in the park.
glad to hear mum and bubs are doing okay.

Kidney stones sound pretty awful. I'm fortunate to have avoided them, but I'm only 23. And for some retarded reason, the bottled water we have here is mineral water. Drinking six or seven liters of that a day can't be good...
Ben - That's awesome, dude. I'm pretty jealous. XD
Saya - Wasn't your birthday kind of a while ago?

The guy who sent it was probably clueless and didn't realize until well after that he missed my birthday. Seemed like a last minute thing.

Sounds like a douche, honestly. I will crush him with the weight of my envy.
Wait, how does a present that seems like a last minute thing make your day?

It was pretty well done for a last minute thing!
Or maybe I'm just trying to troll the douche.

I was very far and my character was well advanced once,
then two of my friends played and accidentely overwrote my save slot.
I will never forget the moment it happend and Snow and Matt looked over at me like "oh no, what have we done"
I almost cried.
I'm trying to rebuild now that I'm no longer that angry about it.
It's been over 6 months. Haha
