I know... lolz... she turned on him with the classic "I'm not YOUR girl!" lolz... I got a kick from that... he seemed whipped or something, because he was following her like a lost dog, asking what he could do to get forgiven... she said something along "fuck off, you muscle headed fuck faced dumbass" or something... I might just have a chance.

Yep, I say at least try to be friends with her. Well, some people have that whole, "once your in her friends circle you can never be her boyfriend!" thing, but I honestly don't believe that due to all of my ex's being friends first.
I really do laugh out loud when I see a guy get treated like that, I know how it feels to be psychologically and verbally abused in private, but not out in the open like that, that's a different story!
