I'm a newbie, but you might want to try looking through older post. I'm sure a lot of people do, though you may get some flak as well over it...

The only good album is Razorblade Romance.

Not a fan. There's been a few other threads like this, which you seem to have dug up.

Actually, I enjoy the imagery. Razorblade Romance was good. Well, their first couple of albums. I have no idea what they were trying to do with Love Metal and Dark Light. I mean damn.

I'll give credit where credit is due. Ville has gorgeous eye balls and always has hot chicks in his videos

You wouldn't be missing anything, Stormy. I doubt they'd be your speed at all.

I find their music to be smothered with feta, but that still doesn't change the fact that Ville has gorgeous eyes

I like them. Yes they are quite cheesy, but Ville is a gorgeous sod, and he does have a good voice. I like the music for what it is, I usually put a bit of HIM on when getting ready to go out I'm going to see them in December * dances *

Yes you are correct KontanKarite. I listen to wicked fast UK82 and recently I've been listening to a weeee bit of crust punk.

I haven't heard enough to be a good indicator...They're ok. I guess. I don't really have an opinion about their sound. It doesn't completely appeal to me, though.

how was their latest album? I heard that the songs were all quite long... so that probably eliminates the popiness factor..

It is for them, very heavy. The songs are quite long ( with the exception of song or suicide ) , and there are more solos ( lovely Linde ) . It's far more "metal" than Love Metal ever was. Of the few interviews I have read, they said it was very influenced by doom bands like Cathedral, and I think that's fairly right. It is quite slow and heavy when compared to their previous work. Cyanide sun is one of my favourite tracks thus far

I hadn't even bothered listening to their latest. I got tired of them eventually, though I'll still break out the CDs sometimes.
