Religion Forum?

I thought there was a religion forum on this site, not that I've looked for it before. Now I want to post something semi-religious and there is no where to do it. It isn't really religion though, it is about Chakras. Chakras can be considered a part of Martial Arts.

Here is the link. Maybe you have some ideas of where it should go?

Given the total catastrophe and shitstorm extravaganza that occurs whenever someone so much as thinks about religion on here, I think a religion forum/thread would be a very bad idea.

quite frankly, I'm not so convinced...

I think that if people don't mind being flamed they should expect whatever post they make in a forum named something as contriversal as 'Religion' to bring just that. I mean, why spread it all across the boards when you can have it happily contained in it's own little leaper colony?

LMAO I'd LOVE a religion thread here. Unfortunately it probably would fail miserable since I believe majority of people here are most likely a atheist, agnostic, or a Wiccan. Those groups don't really argue and pretty much get along with each other quite well.

Trust me, we don't.

I just found out that if one searches BibleGateway dot com or other online bibles for "suicide", nothing matches. I guess if someone was looking for references or comfort along those lines they would have to look harder for any help along those lines. Hopefully, not while they are contemplating it.

I find it strangly poetic that a religion forum would lead to profuse flaming...

but, then again, I am Jewish... *heh*...

The forum does not lead to flaming, a lack of respect and the retaliation leads to flaming. Not pointing fingers here, we are all guilty to a degree.. If you wnat to talk religion, then make a thread called "I wanna talk religion". It's not rocket surgery.

Whenever I mention my religion (Catholic) I get flamed by atheists.

In theory its a good idea, but it wouldnt work.

It would work, if people learned to let it go.
