My boyfriend is on house-arrest and has to have an operable landline at all times. Verizon is having problems and the phone stopped working today. They said the issue won't be resolved for another three days. The home confinement people said that if he doesn't find a place with a landline by tomorrow morning he will go to jail. He will then lose his job.

Fucking NOBODY has a landline anymore, and it takes at least a week from payment to installation to get one. I am stressing.

My exboyfriend was in the same situation and had to be transferred to a group home for like, a year. There, he could only talk for an hour each day and visits only on the weekend. It sucked

Police fucking storming into our house at fucking 8 am. Claiming there has been a break in, when there blatantly hasn't. First things first Chrysi asked to see search warrants, badges and talk to a superior, all of which they seemed to not have. This is some proper fishy shit.

Week ten of the public transit strike! There was a snow storm here today, not too bad, the buses probably would've stayed on the road if they were in service, but I still couldn't walk to school, which remained open.

There was a rally today to protest the strike but it seems a lot of people had no way of getting to the Confederation building. Fucking city hall is probably just thrilled that they're saving so much money.

Reminds me of my sister and her friends. My sister literally lives a 10 minute walk from the town centre yet refuses to walk this short distance and gets a taxi every time she goes out because she 'doesn't do walking'
