Music Finally, an entire forum devoted to talking about Doktor Avalanche, the drum machine for the Sisters of Mercy. You can talk about other bands, or other members of that band, too, if you want to be UNCOOL.

New Siouxsie DVD?

OK, so a friend told me Siouxsie has a new DVD coming out, but I haven't seen the usual prelims on Vamp or other trade rags, is this just rumor? Anyone else heard about a new DVD coming out? Her last one was Mantaray but this new one is supposed to be an autobiographical account?

I don't know about legit DVDs but I recently found bootleg videos of her on July 17th 1981 at the Paradiso, Amsterdam and Aug 6, 2008 at Lokerse Festival, Belgium. I haven't even had time to watch them yet.

HP, I think this must be what you're talking about.

http://www.amazon.com/BBC-3CD-DVD-NT...3081812&sr=8-1

It has 3 CDs and 1 DVD.

It's also going to contain parts of their show at the Royal Albert Hall on 21 Sept '88. This is like the Holy Grail to Siouxsie collectors, but sadly, it looks like they're not releasing the entire show from that night. I believe you can find more of that show as a bootleg but AFAIK there are no complete copies.
