I hate it when bisexual people think that its ok to have a guy and a girl in their lives at the same time! Its not ok for straight people to do it, so why is it that some bisexual people think its ok? My ex-girlfriend was like that! She used to say it wasnt cheating if it was a guy.

Speaking as a bisexual I'd have to say truthfully it expirements with one's sexuality, or a test of your aristocratisy. Unsurprisingly, it's been a common trait toward biseuxals for quite a while. Though in my opinion it's an arrogant stereotype with this "goes both ways" phrase/tag.

I hate to sound kind of like a jerk, but I can understand the whole having a BF and GF thing. There's just one catch. This kind of thing can only ever really begin to be okay with other bisexuals I think. I could be wrong. Though I don't prefer odd numbers. 3 is not a good number for a relationship. 4, as in two guys and two girls, that's fair.
The way I figure it, if you're going to be a polygamist then be fair about it. I try to be the best way that I can, but that's a thread all on its own. Something I think I'll post when I wake up.

Actually, Tracey (my girlfriend) and I have a friend who we would both gladly invite into our relationship as a third. He is a wonderful, gentle and thoughtful person who we both love dearly. The three of us are attracted to each other (yes, even me.. the lesbian) and we get on really well. Tracey and I would both love to bring up children with this man.
Unfortunatly he lives in the USA. We had the chance to spend some time with the three of us together a few years ago when we were there to spend some time with Tracey's family, and things worked out really well. Everything was really harmonious and went smoothly.
I think that threesomes can work out. You just have to make an effort to communicate openly and be totally honest and vulnerable with the way you are feeling.

It's cheating if the person is having a relationship with anyone else at all that is taking priority over your relationship. Whether it is a male or female, whether there is sex or just talking.
The only time something like that isn't cheating is when it is done with the other partners permission and in complete honesty.

Mmmm...
I couldn't do it. I can only ever do foursomes. Threes can probably work, but for me, a foursome is just more fair.

I'm going to take this as a genuine question and ask what you mean by that. What do you mean by that? If it was meant as a flame, then I shall wish you well and we will carry on with the discussion.

It's cheating if you're not ok with it. You're either monogamous or not, and your sexuality just doesn't get to play a part in that. If I decided to have an *open* relationship, where we both see other people, seeing someone else, male or female, would be ok. If I'm in a monogamous relationship, regardless of which genitals I'm currently craving, being with someone else just isn't ok.
To be honest, though, when I was 15 and first came out as bi, I had no idea what the "rules" were, and my girlfriend at the time told me it was ok for us to have outside relationships as long as they were with males. I went with it, and it was mostly ok. We even had the same taste in guys, so we ended up *with* the same guys a lot, which made our personal life a little more fun. That was the dynamic of that relationship, and since we were both in agreement, it worked well, for a while. I'm not with her anymore, though, and that was really part of it.

If it's any consolation, maybe they've found happiness with each other now.

Maggot, I feel so sorry for you. I'm sending over huge cyber-hugs. You deserve the affection.
About you Broken*....
Well, Jillian mentioned something about you being either a troll or an idiot. My question would be, can't she be both? I think she deserves both titles. Whaddya think?
