Where is my poloron torpedo? (Or I'd really like to cause Sol to supernovae.)

Some days I'd like to blow the sun to ashes with a torpedo and in the fifteen minutes it would take to reach our star, I'd like to take cycnide and just die before the explosion. Anybody else get the urge to wipe the solar system out?

There used to be a website that had different ways to destroy the world on it. They were ranked on plausability and difficulty. I think my favorite was the "mass driver approach" in which you litterally gouge chunks out of the planet and propel them into space :P

'Supernovae' is the plural of the noun 'supernova', which is also the verb describing the point in the evolution of a star during which it goes kablooey in a big way.
Just as an aside.

ETA: Also, I just don't think Sol is massive enough to go supernova. Hm. You might have to be content with just a regular nova.
