A Classic Gothic Fan

Hi All,

My name is Rachel and I joined this group in the hopes of talking about classic Gothic literature. I've been a fan of the classic stories like Jane Eyre, Turn of the Screw, Frankenstein, and many others. I'm also a big fan of old TV shows with Gothic themes like Dark Shadows and Strange Paradise.

I hope to make a few friends here.

(The tall, wooden door opens just a crack, wind whistling through, and with one large bloodshot eye, HumanePain peeks in. He opens it a little more, and pops his grizzled, bearded and gray head out, bushy eyebrows twitching. He looks around for...them ...the unforgiving... whose anger he risks by merely opening the door. Tip Toes out, hunched over, eyes to the ground, hands nervously playing with the strap of his black straightjacket. Then he looks up quickly...)

Hello.

(He runs back to the door, and slams it shut with echoes of footsteps heard running down the stone stairway...)
