What an interestin' site--I rather like the art thread that's happenin' over there. *pointin' to the screen*

I'm Animus, and I like art--mostly dark gothlike art, or whatever ya wanna call it, that's my reasons for bein' here. I get much pleasure viewin' others art renderin's. There are some fine artists here! I also draw, and have posted a sketch.

My fav artist is Brom. Has anyone heard of him? He's a wonderful artist.

I have yet to visit the other threads, and so I shall . . . and a way I go.

Welcome.

I don't really know enough about you to say anything else yet so, for the moment, just welcome.

And I like your font.

Try answering these 12 questions:

1. What do you do?

2. Where are you from?

3. Who is your favorite author?

4. What are your favorite films?

5. What music do you want played at your wedding?

6. At your funeral?

7. This IS a gothic website, so... how do you want to die?

8. What kind of casket would you want?

9. What's your FAVORITE outfit?

10. What's one thing you miss about being a little kid?

11. What's your favorite band?

12. What kind of education do you have? What is/was/will be your major?

13. Why did you join?

14. If the first 13 questions didn't give it away. What is your gender?

And please, when peoples talk like this, it starts gettin' a lil a annoyin? okay?

Besides that, welcome to the boards! :]

Annoyin', huh? I have an opinion on that, but I won't go there--I'll keep the peace.

As for the questionaire *sighs*:

1. What do you do?
-Mental Health Worker--specifically, I supervise co-support workers and individuals with mental disabilities in a job program (where they do earn a wage) at a recycle depot. I also drive a forklift.

2. Where are you from?
-BC, Canada.

3. Who is your favorite author?
-Don't have a favourite author--I'll read any author, preferrably Sci-Fi and Fantasy novels.

4. What are your favorite films?
-Don't have a favourite film--not movie orientated.

5. What music do you want played at your wedding?
-Don't intend to be married, hence, no wedding.

6. At your funeral?
-What do I care, I'll be dead! They can play whatever they want.

7. This IS a gothic website, so... how do you want to die?
-I don't--but if I did have to choose--peacefully in my sleep.

8. What kind of casket would you want?
-I dunno--still thinkin' on burial or cremation.

9. What's your FAVORITE outfit?
-Jeans, t-shirt, runners, or shorts, a-shirt, runners. Blue or grey, else green or grey are my colours.

10. What's one thing you miss about being a little kid?
-I'm still a kid--don't intend to grow-up.

11. What's your favorite band?
-Don't have a favourite, but I am listenin' to "Goldfrapp".

12. What kind of education do you have? What is/was/will be your major?
-College Ed. Don't have a major, but I am a certified mental health worker.

13. Why did you join?
-As stated in my first post, I'm interested in the art thread.

14. If the first 13 questions didn't give it away. What is your gender?
-I'm female, but I feel adrogynous. I am both, yet neither.

So, was that enough info for you to digest?

Thanks, "maggot", for the compliment on my avatar and the welcome.

Hi, "Phayte" (fellow Canadian), I've never been to Cranbrook. I was born in Toronto, but raised in BC. Where are you, since you no longer live in BC?

Hi, "Sanctus Dei". I like your username--latin, sacred god.

Hi, "Godslayer Jillian". I haven't heard of that Sci-Fi novel, "Hyperion". I'll keep an eye out for it when I'm at the bookstore. Is it a new or old novel, and who's the author, might be easier to find if I know the author? I always like to hear of different novels I haven't read yet. Thanks for mentionin' it.

And "Xnguela", hi there! I think the font fits into this place wonderfully--it's kinda like my signature--kinda. Anyway, thanks for the greetings--much appreciated.

I realize it's your name--it's in quotes to stand out in the sentence, that's all.

We tend to use the bold command

"Hello there, Animus."
Like that.

Damn. That sounded mocking to me. Sorry, I didn't mean it to. I like you, mate.

No problem, maggot , didn't feel mocked in the least. Thanks for clarifyin' the boldface technique used here. I'll use it from hereon. You seem like a likeable person yourself.

Explain the sig, s'il vous plaît?
The sig is from two different songs from Goldfrapp, "Hairy Trees", and "Wayward Bob". It doesn't really have meaning unless you find one in there--anythin' is possible.

I like how it sounds, and the imagery I get is rather amusing when I think of hairy tress. *lol* I'm an odd thing--don't mind me.
