I don't know who I am anymore
SHIT. I just gave away all my old goth clothes. I've lost my identity! How are other goths meant to identify me now without all my frills, lace, floor length velvet skirts and oversized leather coat?!?! FUCK, I feel dead inside knowing that no one will correctly identify me as the gothest goth that ever lived now.

When I was 13 I was such a tortured, dark girl. I had suffered a lot, I had known true pain in this rotten life and wanted to be a goth but my mommy wouldn't let me. Nobody understood me so I had to start cutting myself. Well but that's another story. One girl told me that true goth's don't need to display it with clothes and makeup, that they carried their goth essence inside them.

Why even miss being Goth if you weren't ever Goth to begin with or no one really thought you were in the first place.
It reminds me of this guy who always like "I'm so Goth." But then no one ever thought he was in the first place. It is like missing nothing. It only counts when you're like really Goth like a Goth icon. When and if people think maybe your aren't then there is a loss of power. Otherwise, no one really cares and you're about the same socially.
