I never thought I'd see someone ask if another actor can "live up to" Arnold Schwarzenegger.

New era with better filming techniques and costuming designs. This film has potential. And Momoa!

Sorry to burst everyone's bubble, but the new Conan is getting REALLY bad reviews everywhere. If you want to enjoy the exploits of a heroic barbarian, curl up with Arnold's classic DVD's.

Hey, it's your money and you're free to waste ... er, I mean spend ... it any way you want.

I'm putting my $10 into Fright Night instead. Review to come after Sunday.

I almost never trust what movie critics have to say about movies. I can form my own opinion, I don't need other people to spoon feed it to me.

Movie critics, music critics, restaurant critics can all inform our opinion. They don't make our opinion for us ... they just give us additional information so we can predetermine what is worth our time. There's too much to do and not enough time or money ...

I have a pretty good sense after reading Roger Ebert's reviews for some 3 or 4 decades of when he dislikes a move that I'm going to like. So I CAN use his reviews as a pretty good gauge of whether I'm going to like a movie before I go see it. Does that mean I let his opinion determine mine? No. But it does inform me and lets me (in this $10 to $15 dollar a movie economy) decide which one of the 8 new movies out this pay period that I will pay to go see.

And when dozens of critics pan a movie and it's getting savaged at Rotten Tomatoes, well that's not the movie I'm picking this pay period. That's just smart use of my limited entertainment dollars.

All I'm going to be expecting going into this new Conan movie is a bare chested Jason Momoa. I hardly think I'll be disappointed. Party pooper.

Well said Wolfie, to many people keep talking about what `they` said, and `they` wrote about something, reviews are just someones opinion and not a fact !!!.

Nah all movies made by Hollywood now are terrible, we don't even need to watch them anymore. We all know how they end.

Sorry it's just that there's about Conan 'O Brien here. I'm bummed.

There is a movie called "Conan O'Brien Can't Stop" out in theaters now, so no need to be bummed.

Wolfie, then I'm sure his oiled pecs won't disappoint.

It's the same reason I don't bitch at my husband about watching wrestling.

Vyv, we all know they end in the toilet. I will not, however, be flushing my money away.
