Going to Amon Amarth concert, chainmail or not?

Hello there! I am having a difficult decision, in four days I am going to see Amon Amarth live together with my awesome teacher who was goth back in the 80's. and a fellow student. Now I have this old black chainmail vest from back when I did Larp, should I wear it or not to the concert? :S and do you think I would pass out becourse of heat?

Chainmail is heavy as hell and you're seeing a metal band. Wear it if you want to pass out.

If it is light, decorative chainmail then it shouldn't be a problem (other than potentially looking rather silly) but if it is live steel quality then that shit is going to feel damn heavy after a short bit and will cause problems.

Why would you wear chainmail to an Amon Amarth concert?

i don't think it's a good idea to be honest.
but then again it depends on how is the chain mail.

Nah, it wont get too heavy with a belt on, I've been wearing it for ten hours straight. Its more about the heat... Its metal so it changes to the temperature around you. The concert is rather late in the night but its probaly gona be quite heated up anyway..

Are you planning on wearing a helmet and carrying a shield and seax, too?
'Cause.. if you wore the mail and not the rest of the ensemble.. that would just be totally poser-ish.

Best concert get-up evar?

If you pass out at a concert and it's not from drugs, you're a wuss.

I think you should go dressed in a suit and tie carrying a briefcase.
